why they don't share. This is what people hate the most about greedy individuals. This way greed is always followed by hatred.

Greed is an attitude. It opposes generosity. While you are not obligated to share your resources with anybody, generous people do it and they do it often. They give and they enjoy doing it. Greedy people hate to share anything if they are not going to receive some remuneration in exchange for their giving. For example, if they have knowledge, they don't enjoy sharing that knowledge unless someone pays them. They never give anything for fun, as nothing makes themhappy except their possessions. They don't like to do favours of any kind. They think that they don't have enough and hence cannot sharewhat they have.

Greed sometimes is a misconception. Wealthy individuals are often accused of being greedy nomatter how generous they may be. If someone is very rich, many people think that the person has to give away what he has even if they don't know the other person. One is not obliged to share his personal belongings. If you are rich, many people will resent your prosperity. They will accuse you of being greedy, even if you are not. But the truly greedy people are hated not because of their wealth, but because of their attitude. Greedy people do not prosper. A greedy and over ambitious personmay seem strong but will be veryweak from the inside.
