ordBuddha says, “Slay anger and youwill be happy. With anger slain, one weeps no more.” Haste is the mother of anger, as Hatred is its father. An angry man creates more enemies and loses friends and likewise gets unhappiness and loses happiness. Anger & Happiness are complementary. Make your anger so expensive so that no one can afford it & make your happiness so cheap that people get it free. The person who holds on to anger or resentment is, without knowing it, causing damage to himself from within. Anger is a wild fire, a forest fire, which spreads from shrub to shrub, from tree to tree, consuming everything that comes its way. Anger is a worse inflictor of sorrow, a great sinner. An angryman is an uglymanwith peace and happiness miles away. First, he sets on fire his own mind, and then the fire spreads to others.

Anger, resentment and grudge are self-destructive and self-defeating. Anger, especially, is a mildmadness or slow poison. It may range fromminor irritation to intense rage. Among the internal foes that constantly try to destroyman and confront himat every stage of his progress, anger occupies the prime place. Anger dissolves affection. Man should suppress anger
