go is the mother of all evils - untruthfulness, greediness, anger, hatred, jealousy; and it keeps man in a revengeful mood. Ego is an inflated feeling of pride in our superiority to others. It is often said that ego is born when a person is born and stays with him throughout his life. Ego makes us conscious of our own identity at all times. It is a stumbling block in the head and hides the vast happiness of the mind. Human beings are tempted to think highly of themselves, take pride in their achievements and possessions, and to readily believe that they are responsible for their success. All this fills their minds with ego. Ego serves only one purpose, and that is to make you feel better about who you are. Ego has, andwill, destroymany great persons, all in the name of defending its Self. The whole purpose of ego is to self-preserve itself. Ego is like dust in the eyes. Until you get rid of the dust, you can't see anything clearly.

Selfish people who harbour the feelings of “I” and “Me” can never experience happiness, as these feelings make a man egoistic and proud. While ego breaks you, humility and acceptance give you strength to face adversities. If you bend, you cannot be broken. A
